Psychological First Aid (PFA) offers a simple, practical framework for supporting people in distress following a crisis, trauma, or emergency. No formal qualification is required to complete this course and it is ideal for adults working or volunteering in community, health, education, or care settings.
You’ll learn how to provide immediate emotional support using the key principles of PFA - ensuring safety, promoting calming, building connection, and encouraging hope and self-efficacy. Through real-life scenarios and guided practice, you’ll gain the confidence to respond with empathy and skill when it matters most.
